Maia Hirasawa rocks Melodifestivalen in Sweden
4 million viewers didn't scare Maia Hirasawa who rocked Sweden's Eurovision song contest tonight with "The Worrying Kind". Check it out here. A new edition of her successful debut album "though, I'm just me" is now available at Itunes (Europe) and your local recordstore. Of course, her version of "The Worrying Kind" is on the album plus a couple of new songs.

I´m playing on P3 Live Session this Wednesday at 21.30. Me and my band recorded it in Svenska Grammonfonstudion in Gothenburg and it was amazing! It´s songs mixed with interviews. And if you don´t have time to listen to it on Wednesday you can always listen to it later on P3 homepage!

It´s only 7 days left before Maia Hirasawa is entering the stage on Södra Teatern, Stockholm. She will have a extra large band that night with strings and horns. Please book your tickets here, because there not many tickets left now.
Another news is that she is now booked for Hultsfredsfestivalen. There will soon be more summergigs under "shows".

She entered at Lucky #13 at the swedish album chart last week with her debut album.

Poor Miss Li has been ill and I am standing in for some of her shows with the comic actors Åsa & Gertrud from Riksteatern. Please notice that this will not be a regular Maia Hirasawa performance but a mix of theatre and my music. Clas Lassbo will join me on double bass.
