Maia Hirasawa releases new single “I Am a Woman (Day 24)” – a first glimpse of a personal and conceptual album.
On May 8, Maia Hirasawa releases her new single “I Am a Woman (Day 24)” — the first single from an upcoming album in which she explores, in depth, how hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle affect wellbeing, creativity, and identity. “I Am a Woman (Day 24)” is a powerful and vulnerable song that takes its starting point in the most challenging days of the cycle. With a personal tone and an honest narrative, Maia gives voice to experiences that are far too rarely acknowledged. Written and produced by Maia herself.

I’m a guest on “Musikbranschpodden”. We had a really nice talk – not so much about the industry itself, but about creativity, softness, and staying true to yourself instead of following what the business expects. Listen here or on your podcast platform.
